This app is accurate with both visual and sound I was so impressed I wrote this review. If you play guitar or just learning, do yourself a favor...For 99 cents it replaces expensive tuning devices and guitar books...Even if the price goes way up its still well worth it Best deal I ever got for an app! thanks!
My needs are simple - a tuner, a metronome, a chord finder. This app does all these and has a steampunk interface to boot. Doesnt get any better than this. Oh, wait! It does! Its only a buck!
Tuner is accurate, almost as good as my Peterson StroboClip (which I got for 80 dollars). The chords are 100% accurate. Very useful for any experienced guitar player.
Accurate tuner and looking up chords is pretty sweet. Well worth the dollar!!
Honestly, I bought this on a whim because the interface looked so good. I have to say that this is my favorite tuner Ive ever used. Most tuners this accurate are a bit squirrelly but this one just works so well--very easy to tune your acoustic to within a cent. Of course it looks really nice too. One of my favourite apps.
What do you get for a dollar today. I have a hundred dollar tuner that can only do a fraction that this can. Best dollar I spent in a very long time.

Some bad moments

It no longer works on iPhone 6. It seems like the author forgot about updating it. Last update was made available in 2010. Now, It doesnt even open. It used to be very good, but not anymore.
Ive had this app for quite awhile. Now it wont open. It was a wonderful app when it worked.
Unless you just want a tuner and a library of chords there is very little to do here. You cant play much of anything with it and the frets are so close your fingers better be toothpick sized to finger the chords. There is not even a free play mode. I say pass on this one.
The tuner doesnt work!! That was the only reason I bought this app because it said, and I quote, "the best guitar tuner in the app store" and it definitely is not. The needle goes all over the place and the notes keep changing. How am I supposed to use a chromatic tuner that doesnt work? Lame!!!
I wish I had heeded another reviewers complaint about the tuner. On my iPhone 4 it jumps around so much that its impossible to tune. Wasted 99 cents, then decided to go with guitar toolkit (tested on friends phone). It might cost $10, but it works like a charm.
Please fix for the iPhone 4. When I auto tune it jumps everywhere!
